What is Yumeiho Therapy?

👉 The goal is simple: restore alignment → reduce pain → improve movement

About Me
My name is Ákos Bogschütz, and I have been practicing Japanese Yumeiho therapy since 2004. With over two decades of experience, I help my clients reduce pain, regain freedom of movement, and restore physical balance.
From 2004, I worked as a Yumeiho therapist and medical massage therapist at the Mamaison Residence Izabella Hotel Budapest. Between 2014 and 2025, I practiced in UK, Brighton as Yumeiho Therapy Brighton. In 2019, I obtained the 5th Dan (Master level) in Japan, which also qualifies me as an official instructor of the Yumeiho method.
Many people come to me with lower back pain, stiff and painful neck, related headaches, sports injuries, and complaints caused by everyday strain—such as sedentary work, lifting, or stress. In longer treatment series, positive results can also be achieved in cases of degenerative spinal and disc conditions.
As part of the treatments, I also teach exercises that can be performed at home, based on my yoga teacher training at the Dharma Gate Buddhist College and 12 years of regular teaching experience.
In 2011, I summarized my knowledge of lower back pain in a free study titled “The Lumbago Bible.” The professional content was reviewed by Dr. Gábor Jakab, Deputy Chief Physician at the Buda Spine Center. I also share related articles, exercises, and useful information on the Lumbago Blog.
My goal is not only to provide temporary relief, but to help my clients achieve lasting balance and greater freedom of movement.
